Tooth has been in the closet for 12 years and fights against his attraction to Luci but fails completely as he falls in love with his young charge and becomes a protective, loving caretaker. There's suspense and danger with a plot of organ snatching by the villains. There's a lot going on in the story to include family dynamics because Luci is the illegitimate son of the club's president who has ignored him his whole life.

The Devil

Tooth is the enforcer for the MC club and fits the mold of the hard, alpha male while Luci fits the stereotypical young effeminate boy who has been abandoned to live on the streets. If you like a sweet, loving m/m gay relationship Tooth and Luci fit the bill. Don't know how these will be topped, but I lo.

There were some sick f&cks in these books that I actually cheered for and I'm a Buddhist! Book 2 made me realize that I was wrong about not rereading book 1 since I plan to continue the series. Usually, MM novels don't go to places that these stories went. I commend the authors on taking some risks. I didn't know what was going to happen and I honestly didn't care because any possible outcome I had in my head would have been acceptable. So why one less start than the first? I was raw after the first. It's tight, great concept, characters that you can connect to, action, unpredictability, and a HEA with a big fat rainbow bow - all the things I love in a book. Review 1: Great book and I can see why this story has a higher overall rating.
